The Prequel to BarWars V pitted the best Flair Bartenders in Florida against each other. Competitors from Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach, and Miami all came out to see who was Florida's best Flair Bartender. The winner moved on to the finals of BarWars V a month later. The winner was Rodrigo Delpech, and he had some of the best three bottles anyone has seen in a long time. This takes place on August 30th 2002, in West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. This two round, one night, open bartender competition takes place again at "The Blue Martini." It was open to the public with 1st Place taking home $1,500, 2nd Place with $1,000, and 3rd Place $500. Bartenders included: Rodrigo Delpech, Mauro Garrido, Rodrigo Cao, Nicolas "Nico" Antivero, Chris Hare, Martin Janica, Justin Bumpus, Steve "Boogie" Brown, Chad "Taco" Tocco, Shawn "Skip" Sanders, and Timothy "TJ" Zino.
